I must not escape into meta, I tell myself,
fearing I’ve done so already—
I must not escape into reference or class issues,
knowing that first step’s been taken already,
No rhymes of a poorman, nor rich repetition
nor setting myself up for self-flagellation,
I can only confess that I’ve nothing whereto
and then prove that I’ve nothing, then nothing to prove—
I must not escape into memories of mine own
self or mine own reference—
I must not escape into self-definition or
‘torical tricks or analysis such as
paralipsis, preterition, ‘literation or ‘lision,
apophasis, -theotic, -calyptic revision,
Benedictine hand gestures or non-verbal clues
save for all of those listening—there’s no such thing as escape if not for you.
Regarding the caption:
The voice of Α is as a child who knows all the answers to riddles already e.g:
Ρ: What begins eternity and ends all time and space,
occurring thrice in every end, and once before thereof this place?
Α: “e”!
The voice of Ω is as a parent who first hears a question and asks another, from and to respectively, the child who asked it, e.g:
Υ: Do you have a duck in your closet too?
Ω: A duck …?
… too?
…!
